About this app

Resto+ Kitchen turns any tablet, TV or PC into a kitchen display screen for your restaurant. Orders sent from the Resto+ POS land on the pass the moment they are fired — no printer, no paper, no runner shouting across the line.

Built for the kitchen, not the office. The board is dark, high contrast and readable from a couple of metres away by someone holding a pan.

REAL-TIME BOARD
• New orders appear the instant they are sent to the kitchen
• Per-item status: queued, preparing, ready, served
• Bump a whole ticket or mark items ready one at a time
• Undo a bump, and recall anything bumped in the last window
• Cancellations arrive as a loud, unmissable state change so nobody keeps cooking a voided item

TIMERS YOU CAN TRUST
• Every ticket carries its age, colour-coded neutral, then amber, then red
• Amber and red thresholds are set per screen, in minutes
• Ages are measured against server time, not the tablet clock — a wall screen with a wrong clock still shows the truth

ONE SCREEN PER SECTION, OR ONE FOR THE WHOLE PASS
• Assign each screen the sections it cooks: grill, cold, fryer, bar, whatever you have set up
• Or put a screen in Expo mode and show every section at once for the pass
• Sections keep their colour from HQ, so a glance tells you where a ticket belongs

KEEPS GOING WHEN THE NETWORK DOES NOT
• Bumps made offline are queued locally and sync the moment the connection returns
• The last board is cached, so a screen that reboots mid-service comes back with its tickets
• A clear offline banner tells the kitchen what is happening instead of silently going stale

BUILT FOR A WALL SCREEN
• Stays awake, stays landscape, and can run full screen
• Audible alerts for new tickets, overdue tickets and cancellations, with adjustable volume
• A PIN keeps settings out of reach during service
• Full English and Arabic, including right-to-left layout

WHAT YOU NEED
Resto+ Kitchen is a companion app for restaurants already running Resto+. You will need an active Resto+ subscription and a Kitchen Display device licensed for your restaurant in Resto+ HQ. Sign in once with your owner account, pick the screen and its sections, and it runs.
