About this game

This is a companion app for use with the Return to Dark Tower board game. Gather your warriors, complete epic quests, and assault the Tower to defeat evil once and for all. The app controls the mechanical Tower via wireless connection, runs the virtual battle system, and manages quests and events. (This is not a standalone game.)

Ratings and reviews

The app is a little confusing and sometimes appears to miss certain cues. It could do with a "tutorial mode" with hints etc. for new players, particularly with the 2nd printing and expansions that just came out. I would like to have it installed on my tablet and my phone, but am unsure if it would save games and status history across both devices. Finally, I would like to see a shared mode as well where players have their own app and join the game. Mobile devices are private.

Top notch app for a top notch game. We did 6 playthroughs yesterday and we can't wait to play some more. One thing we noticed that could be improved in the app. It is specifically when fighting bosses. Each time you engage, complete a card and leave it requires you to select 5 new cards for the next boss encounter. We thought the app was refreshing the encounter and not keep track of it until later games. Perhaps a little note that says "don't worry we have saved your progress" regardless 10/10

awesome game. The tower movement is, skull releasing , etc work very well. THe game requires a lol of strategy. I lose more often than win so the game can be pretty hard but not too hard .
