About this app

# Restrainify – Porn Blocker, NSFW Filter & App Blocker

Restrainify is a porn blocker, NSFW filter and app blocker for Android. It blocks porn and explicit content on social media, blocks distracting apps, stops endless Reels and Shorts, and limits your screen time, so you can quit porn, stop doom scrolling and take back your screen.

Protection runs on your phone. No account is needed, and Restrainify keeps no browsing history.

## BLOCK EXPLICIT CONTENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

- The NSFW filter hides sexual content inside Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Snapchat
- Detects nudity, porn, suggestive and revealing images, and explicit drawings or anime
- Sexual content is covered as soon as it is detected; swipe up to skip
- On-device AI: screen content is never saved or uploaded

## BLOCK PORN AND ADULT SITES

- Porn blocker for every browser and app, on Wi-Fi and mobile data
- Blocks porn sites, adult and sexual content sites, proxy sites and DNS bypass tricks
- SafeSearch for Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo, plus YouTube Restricted Mode
- Block any website you choose, or always allow the ones you trust
- Website lookups go encrypted to Cloudflare's family-safe DNS

## APP BLOCKER AND APP LIMITS

- Block any installed app completely, or only at certain times
- Daily usage limits for each app; when time is up, the app stays closed until tomorrow
- Schedules and quiet hours, such as no social media after 21:00 or during work
- Pick the days each schedule applies
- Burst mode blocks your chosen apps instantly when an urge hits

## BLOCK REELS AND SHORTS, KEEP YOUR CHATS

- Block Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels and Snapchat Spotlight
- Keep messages and the rest of the app working, or block the whole app
- Choose what to block for each app and stop doom scrolling the moment a feed opens

## SCREEN TIME TRACKER

- See today's screen time and how it compares with yesterday
- See how long you used each app today
- Watch your daily screen time drop week after week

## LOCKS THAT HOLD WHEN TEMPTED

- Strict mode: blocks, limits and filters can't be weakened for the time you choose
- Burst mode: one tap for temporary high protection
- Uninstall protection: lock removal of Restrainify for 1, 7, 14, 30 or 90 days
- Hard to undo in a weak moment, so your rules stay in place

## QUIT PORN AND TRACK YOUR RECOVERY

- Clean streak counter, recovery calendar and timeline
- Private check-ins with the optional tracker, with weekly and monthly views
- Optional Google sign-in to sync your settings and earn daily focus coins

## WHO IT'S FOR

- Anyone who wants to quit porn or overcome porn addiction
- People on a NoFap or recovery journey who need a porn blocker that holds
- Anyone fighting phone addiction, social media addiction or doom scrolling
- Students and professionals who want an app blocker for focus and a calmer digital detox

## PRIVACY FIRST

- Content checks happen on your device
- No browsing history is kept
- No ads, and your data is not sold

## PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED

Restrainify asks only for what each feature needs, and explains each one before you turn it on.

- **Accessibility service:** detects which app and screen is open so Restrainify can block apps, Reels and Shorts, enforce limits and schedules, show the NSFW filter and protect its own settings during an uninstall lock. Restrainify does not use it to collect or share personal data.
- **VPN service:** creates a local filter on your phone that blocks adult websites by name. Your other traffic does not pass through it, and no browsing history is kept.
- **Usage access:** measures how long each app is open, for app limits and screen time stats.
- **Device administrator:** used only while you have uninstall protection on, and released when the lock ends.

Restrainify helps you build self control. It is not tamper-proof, and works best together with your own commitment.
