ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE:

To provide these core features, Arc uses the Android Accessibility Service.

This service is used ONLY to read the text content from your screen when you explicitly tap a sidebar action (AI Summary, AI Read, Save Content, Chat, or Custom Actions). It is also used to capture your screen when you tap "Save Content" or attach a screenshot (after you give explicit consent).

Arc does not monitor your screen in the background and does not collect any data unless you initiate an action.

Ratings and reviews

Phenomenal app! It’s packed with AI tools and works perfectly for summaries. I love that it’s currently ad-free and totally free to use. Since running Google AI APIs is expensive, I have a suggestion for the future: instead of eventually moving to a paid model or adding ads as you grow past 5K downloads, please add an option for users to input their own Gemini/AI API key. This would allow the app to stay free while letting power users cover their own usage costs. Keep up the work!

Great app. Only issue I have is the constant system notification that it's displaying over other apps and I can't permanently disable that. I suspect the issue is magic os, but it's still really annoying. Hopefully the developer will look to resolve it before I uninstall. Magic portal is enabled. Uninstalled as no further support. Hope you are luckier than me. Thanks for the follow up, surely the point of Arc is to use the sidebar? I don't have that persistent issue with any other app.

The app you didn't know you needed! I don't review apps often, but this one is amazing. It's pretty straightforward to get set up. And the custom actions are a huge Plus. I love having the ability to fact check or play devils advocate without having to screenshot and open another app. I also love being able to find a product and simply swipe and tap to see if it can be found cheaper elsewhere. Try this app, guys! You'll love it!
