I haven't spent a long time with it yet but so far I feel that the negative feedback is mostly from people who are used to super easy and simple interfaces. This app is remeniscent of a computer program as they were before the easier to market app concept came along. This is a powerful and comprehensive app and I'd say it's an achievement, you just need to have a little patience finding your way around at first. Very nice guys, I especially love how you've included directories of external resources. I was buzzing with nostalgia within 5 mins of downloading the app!
Honestly a very good emulator. Ignore the people complaining about things such as cores or overlays, all the cores work fine and the overlays are pretty good. The problem is simply fanangling the overlays enough to get them exactly how you want them. Regardless of whether or not you change any of the overlays, they all work perfectly. However, it may take a grand total of 5 minutes to set up your cores in the beginning. Once setup is complete, however, Retroarch runs perfectly. Can't recommend this enough.
Great when it works i think this is great setup when things are working ok and it is so handy to have access to so many systems in one place, but for whatever reason, I cannot get this setup in any way on my tablet even though the specs are fairly decent. Once l load up the app it freezes as soon as I try to select anything from the menus. I've uninstalled, cleared cache and still I can't get so far as to select anything. If this issue could be resolved there'd be another 2 stars on this review.
This used to be my goto emulator mainly because it had so many. But lately it's been crappy in the sense it doesn't keep saves. I'd play a game for a few hours, quit to charge phone or do other things, then when I came back my saves were all gone, either from the in-game save or the save states. Save states never seem to work now. Never saves or loads, or never changes save file.
Works great most of the time. Thou pico drive seems to have stopped working. Can't get it to load the core. Attempted updating and reinstalling retroarch. Any suggestions to fix my issue. It's the only way I can play 32x on the go
My favorite emulator but I have an issue where the only button that doesn't work on my gamepad is the up dpad button. It's making games unplayable because the analog just isn't good for older games. Please fix and I'll change to five stars
