Measure any field, plot or boundary with the phone in your pocket.

Plotrace turns your phone's GPS into a land measuring tool. Walk or drive the edge of a field and watch the area build up as you go, or tap the corners on satellite imagery from where you stand. Either way you get area, perimeter and distance in the units you actually use — and the record is saved, mapped and ready to share.

MEASURE THE WAY THE JOB SUITS
• Walk or drive the boundary — the track is recorded live as you move
• Tap the map to trace a plot corner by corner on satellite imagery
• Point-to-point distance for fence runs, pipe, irrigation and access roads
• Circle measure — drop a centre, drag the radius, get the area
• Cut out ponds, buildings and anything else that should not count
• Move, insert and delete points until the boundary is right

UNITS FOR YOUR COUNTRY
Acre, hectare, square metre, square foot, bigha, guntha, cent, kanal and marla. Metre, kilometre, foot, yard, mile, chain, inch and furlong. Pick your defaults once — every record still shows the rest on its detail screen.

Plotrace is free to try with one saved record. Pro unlocks unlimited records, projects and collaboration, advanced tools and PDF and image export, on a monthly or annual subscription. Payment is charged to your Google Play account, and a subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel yours in Google Play at any time.

A NOTE ON ACCURACY
Plotrace reports what your phone's GPS reports. That is accurate enough for farm planning, fencing, quotes and day-to-day work, but it is not a legal survey — for boundaries that must stand in law, use a licensed surveyor.
