Reviewboard Magazine helps shoppers research a product or vehicle before they buy it.

Use the app in a store aisle, at home, or at a car lot to check everyday products, electronics, groceries, household items, cleaners, and new or used vehicles. Scan a barcode, scan or type a VIN, or type a product name to get fast buying information on your phone.

Reviewboard can show:
- A Reviewboard score and plain-English buying opinion
- Average price context so you can judge the price in front of you
- Product details such as brand, name, category, and barcode when available
- Vehicle details from VIN decoding
- Recall and safety information for vehicles when available
- Owner and customer sentiment from public sources
- Member deal information when eligible offers are available

Basic research is free. You can scan products and vehicles for regular information without paying. Optional membership unlocks deal information when Reviewboard finds online or nearby offers.

Permissions:
- Camera access is used to scan barcodes and VIN labels.
- Location access is used only when you ask for nearby offer context.
- You can also type a product name, barcode, or VIN manually.

Reviewboard does not publish customer names or private shopping histories in the public catalog. Account and data deletion requests are available in the app and through Reviewboard support.
