Ratings and reviews

The Revo Scan POP 3 is a excellent entry-level scanner. While not incredible in terms of software, the ease of use and accessibility of the tool makes it a good starting point for students, hobbyist, or Makers. I would recommend this for a first scanner to develop skills, workflow, and understanding the limits of 3D scanning, but I would be hesitant to use this for high-end or high accuracy work.

Not impressed. The app does function, but there are several places where icons have no explanation or words under them, and its not clear what clicking them does. Using the Mini scanner. I have actually watched all the user guides, but the major flaw seems to be that the scanner loses its lock point and then starts rescanning, basically duplicating point clouds on top of each other, creating merged bodies with a single scan that I cannot undo. It basically makes it impossible to scan anything.

The Inspire 2 won’t connect to my S25 Ultra over USB-C—only WiFi. It works fine on PC, and several other S25 Ultra users report the same issue. This is a warning for anyone planning to use the scanner via USB-C with an S25 ultra.
