BlindHarp Pro
BlindHarp Pro is a simple, self-voicing digital autoharp designed for blind and visually impaired musicians. It is meant to be played by feel and sound, without the need for a system screen reader.
How to play: 1. Hold your phone in Landscape (sideways). 2. Left Hand: A 3x2 grid of six large chord buttons. Tap one to select your chord. 3. Right Hand: This is your strumming area. Slide your finger here to play. 4. Magnetic Strings: The app automatically "snaps" to the correct notes for you, so you don't have to be precise. 5. Far Right Edge: Slide your finger along the very right edge of the screen to quickly switch between 22 sounds like harp, guitar, and piano.
Voice Setup: To change a chord, long-press a button and say the chord name. You can use phonetic words like "Apple" or "Charlie" to help the app understand you better.
Permissions: Requires Microphone access for voice-chord programming. The app automatically exits after 10 seconds of silence to save battery.
