Rhythm Guitar Trainer plays a guitar guide track and a drum pattern — so you can hear and feel a rhythm before you hold it yourself. Pick a style, choose a pattern, set your tempo and key. Then practice.
FADE & HOLD — THE CORE METHOD
This is what makes Rhythm Guitar Trainer different.
The app plays the guitar guide track together with the beat. After a few bars, the guide fades out — and you keep playing on your own, staying in time with the drum track. Then it fades back in so you can correct yourself by adjusting your playing to match guide guitar.
You always see the strumming notation while you play, so your ear and the written rhythm start to connect naturally. It's like having a practice
partner who steps back after some bars — and lets you take the lead.
This practice method was developed by music education professionals.
THREE STYLES, 40+ PATTERNS
• Funk — 16th-note patterns with and open muted strums
• Rock — power chords, palm muting, gallop rhythms, triplets
• Jazz — ternary feel, comping, Charleston patterns
Each pattern comes with a chord diagram and rhythmic notation, so you always know exactly what's being played.
FULL CONTROL OVER YOUR PRACTICE
• Choose any key
• Adjust tempo — slow down to learn, speed it up to challenge yourself
• Practise with a backing drum track or a metronome, using different accents.
• Set the guitar/beat balance to focus on what you need
• Set your practice session length
