Ria - Rádio Universitária de Aveiro is a digital periodical publication of general information, with daily and regional content. It guides its activity based on the principles of independence, exemption, plurality and appreciation of members of the University of Aveiro community.

Its fundamental objective is to serve the entire UA community, the city and the region of Aveiro, namely by providing information on the various areas of social, political, educational, sporting, cultural life, among others.

Ria also intends to promote debate, active citizenship and disseminate complete, rigorous and impartial information, contributing to constructive criticism, to a more informed, more integrated, more emancipated, more participatory and humanly enriching life in society, both in the context of university, as well as the city and region of Aveiro.
