LitSeed combines an ebook reader with a reading tracker for both digital and physical books.
Build your own library and keep the thoughts that stay with you — from your first guess about the ending to your final review.
Read your way
Import books in EPUB, TXT, and other formats and read offline. Adjust the font, text size, and page colors to suit you, and save a custom theme for your whole library or just one book.
Track your physical books
Start the timer when you pick up a book, then log the last page you read when you're done. Your reading time and progress are saved in your stats, so you can track everything you read, whatever the format.
Shelves, tags, and reading plans
Create a shelf for recommendations from friends or books you save for autumn, and use tags to organize by theme and mood. When you're choosing your next read, filters help you find the right collection. Mark what you're reading now and what you're saving for later, then leave a rating and review to remember how you felt about the book.
Notes and your reading journal
Comment on passages, save quotes, and leave reactions on pages that move you. Color-code passages by theme or mood, choosing your own shades and meanings: pink for romance or black for sad moments. Search your saved entries, and use bookmarks to return to pages you want to reread.
Quotes from printed pages
To save a passage from a physical book, take a photo of the page and select the lines on the image. LitSeed extracts the text so you can save the quote with your own comment, without retyping the whole passage. You can also dictate a quote and save it in the app.
Book connections and mood boards
Your library map shows how books connect to authors, shelves, and notes, while your own canvas lets you explore the connections you notice. Place two books side by side, link quotes, and add a note about where their authors agree or disagree.
Create a mood board with images or your own drawings to capture how you picture a story. Choose images for its characters and settings, and add to the board as new details come to mind while you read.
Detailed reading stats
The calendar and charts show how often you read and how much time you spend with books. See how many books you've finished, how long your sessions last, and your estimated reading speed over your chosen period. Open a book's reading history for a closer look, and share your results as a stats card.
Weekly recaps
Your weekly recap brings together the books you spend the most time with, the passages you save, and the times you usually read. Previous recaps stay in your archive, so you can look back and compare weeks.
Daily reminders
Decide how many minutes you want to read each day and set a reminder for a time that suits you. Each day you meet your goal adds to your reading streak, and the home screen widget shows your progress and whether you've reached today's target.
LitSeed doesn't require an account. Your books, notes, and reading history are stored on your device.
