Built by a collector with 270+ pieces who got tired of losing track of which Para 3 was the SMKW dealer-exclusive and which was the regular run. Spreadsheets you abandon after a month. Notes apps that turn into walls of untitled entries. Ricasso is the clipboard those tools failed to be.


§ WHAT IT DOES

· VAULT — every knife in your collection as a serialized record. Make, model, steel, lock, edge, weight, acquisition, photos, notes. Once. Forever.

· REGISTER — UPC scan pre-fills brand and model where the data exists. Type or pick from a known-models list for older pieces. The vault doesn't care how the row got there.

· SETTINGS — your data, your controls. Export, delete account, manage subscription, sign out. Plain English.


§ DUAL NUMBERING

Every knife you log gets two identifiers, minted together:

· RC-XXXX — your per-vault counter. Your 42nd piece is RC-0042. Lives on the vault list, knife detail, and the first column of your CSV export.

· RCSO-XXXXXXXXXX — a globally unique 10-digit serial that lives on the Bill of Sale, buyer emails, and the provenance ledger. Treat it like a USPS tracking number for ownership.

§ PRICING

· Free — $0. Log up to 25 knives, 1 photo each. UPC scan. Mark Sold. Maker DB search. Bill of Sale add-on available for $2.99 one-time.

· Collector — $29/year. 250-knife cap, 8 photos per piece, CSV export, cloud sync, AI bulk import, active eBay comps.

· Founding Lifetime Collector — $99 one-time. Every paid feature we ship, free for life. Capped at the first 200 buyers. Sunset July 31, 2026.

· Additional tiers (Curator, Dealer) with sold-comps, listing generator, batch Bill of Sale, multi-seat: coming after launch, pending data-source approval.


§ WHAT IT IS NOT

· No ads. Ever.
· No tracking. Ever.
· No data aggregation. Your vault is yours; we use it to give you a vault, period.
· No AI training on your records.
· No social feed, no badges, no streaks, no friend graph.

If we ever change any of that, you get an email titled something honest, first.


§ STORAGE

Free tier data lives on your phone. Paid tier data syncs to a Firebase database (Google Cloud) tied to your account: HTTPS in transit, AES-256 at rest with Google-managed keys. We don't sell, share, or aggregate. CSV export lives in Settings — bring your data, leave with your data.

Ratings and reviews

the UPC scan usually doesn't work but that's no big deal. I noticed that if I go into an existing knife and select"edit", the"serial #" field is gone from the UI: I can only add serial number when creating a new item. is it possible to include this as an editable field for existing items? good app overall.

I was one of the first to help launch this product. been at it from the beginning. it's really matured into a well-rounded efficient data entry process. still working on getting all my knives in there.

So far it has been exactly what I've needed to keep everything organized. The support has been top notch also. Appreciate you Disco 🙏

What’s new

Post to eBay, unstuck: the "Finish eBay setup" dead end is fixed. Ricasso now creates the required eBay shipping location for you. Enter your ZIP once, then publish.
Speak to Add: say a model number ("five three five") and Ricasso finds the exact knife. Cleaner steel and spec results, plus chips showing your details vs AI suggestions. What you say always wins.
