The Bratislava Illustration Biennial (BIB) is one of the most important events held under the auspices of UNESCO and the International Children's Book Union (IBBY), with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic. The main organizer is BIBIANA, an international art house for children. At the Bratislava Illustration Biennale, which is a key event of fine art and illustration for children of world importance, every odd-numbered year in the fall, the best of the illustrators meet since 1967. This year, 275 illustrators from 36 countries competed with 2072 illustrations from 355 books.
