I can’t give this one star because the camera’s connectivity is too unreliable to use professionally, but I'm forced to be able to submit this review. I’m a real estate photographer, and this issue has prevented me from taking on work. I’ve spent nearly three hours troubleshooting just to get it to connect. For the price, this level of unpredictability and unreliability is completely unacceptable.

The old Theta app worked. I barely got this new app to work once. Now I can't get it to open (it just freezes indefinitely on a blank page). I cleared cache, uninstalled, and reinstalled. Now I can open, but when I try to log in it spins indefinitely. So basically, I can't even use my camera. What a joke of a company. "Let's make a camera that can't be used without our janky app." I have a YL00 with a Motorola Edge+. More than enough power in this phone.

As much as I feel like it deserves a one star, the app used to work. Lately, not a single time that I load it up does it recognize the camera. Just now I spent 30 minutes deleting all my theta apps with their cache, factory resetting the camera, and it still will not connect. It's an app malfunctioning so badly that my several hundred-dollar theta camera is useless. I'm upset. Please don't give Rico your money if people are still saying things like this in the reviews.
