Will not connect out the box :( Tried for 20mins before giving up. Updated firmware, nothing. I guess I'll just remap the button. Samsung S25, PENTAX KF Ver : 1. 33 Edit! Sooo another reviewer had the answer. When connecting, go find the device name and password in the camera's menu. Then when in the app you click connect, if a popup in your phone comes up (outside of the app) do NOT press connect and the app should connect. Something with the phones OS and the app are fighting each other

Test run indoors before a nighttime shoot on my k1 mk ii and it worked fine. Live view, settings, focus, all perfect. Took it out to the site and couldn't connect. App kept crashing. Absolute waste of time and effort and I'm not happy about it. Back indoors and still can't connect. Stopped app. Un-installed and reinstalled. No joy. Update: updated the camera firmware and I can connect now. But now image sync is telling me it won't operate in bulb mode. Why not. I need bulb mode for astrotrace.

I had a few small issues at first, but it didn't take long to get things sorted and now I really like the app. First, I had some connection issues, but then I realized this was my phone dropping the connection due to no Internet access. Once I got the phone to forget about looking for the Internet and hold the connection, it was fine. Second, I tried using it and had an issue where I had the camera drive setting in continuous shooting but the app was in single shot, it gave me a strange message and would not take a picture until I figured out that both the app and camera had to be in the same drive mode. After getting these two small issues figured out, it has worked flawlessly and I really like it a lot! It does what I need it to and then some.
