Peach Pass Verify is the new mobile app that provides a convenient way for existing Peach Pass customers to claim free toll benefits when carpooling. With just a few taps on your smartphone, you can verify that you have three or more people (driver included) and tolls will be waived for your ride in the High Occupancy Toll Lanes – specifically, the Georgia I-85 Express Lanes and I-85 Extension Express Lanes!

I agree with previous negative reviews. Hoping a future update will provide convenience that complies with the GA Hands Free Law. I usually don't remember to turn it on an hour in advance, so I've found ways to toggle settings and start the carpool while driving but it's a headache. Since the app can detect movement and send reminders to reverify if you stop, I would hope it could automatically switch to a handsfree assistant or something.

The app requires 3 verifications to start each drive. If you forget to go into the app and verify 3 times before you leave your location, tough luck, it won't let you set it up when the car is moving. You have to have 3 people in the car to get the free toll, but no one can set up the app if the car is moving! What horrible programming. They very intentionally made it difficult to use in order to get the free toll, hoping people will forget to set it up and have to pay the toll.

Ok so: WHY?!? App does nothing to help *actually* verify whether you have 3+ people in the car, instead all it really does is add hoops to jump through. IMHO the real goal here is nothing more than for peach pass to generate more revenue by making it more difficult to use the toll-free carpool mode (totally regardless of whether it's being used legitimatly or not), while they can still claim to be 'offering the perk.' But in the end nothing more that a waste of everyone's time!
