Peach Pass Verify is the new mobile app that provides a convenient way for existing Peach Pass customers to claim free toll benefits when carpooling. With just a few taps on your smartphone, you can verify that you have three or more people (driver included) and tolls will be waived for your ride in the High Occupancy Toll Lanes – specifically, the Georgia I-85 Express Lanes and I-85 Extension Express Lanes!

Ratings and reviews

While the app does offer the ability to drive in the Peach pass lanes toll free, it is a bit of a scam. I have incurred charges because while driving, I will come to a standstill. During this period, the app constantly warns me to complete my drive, but my drive is NOT completed as I have not reached my destination. When I do reach my destination, the app shuts down and doesn't allow me to complete my drive. This has to be fixed. This has happened multiple times.

As others have said, its very hard to reliably use, end up paying more often than not even with 3+ in car. It also causes battery drain at random times, up to 30% per day by turning on in background even though I'm not driving or even in Georgia (it turns on GPS which causes drain) Have emailed SRTA, response was "no known issues with the app".

The app requires 3 verifications to start each drive. If you forget to go into the app and verify 3 times before you leave your location, tough luck, it won't let you set it up when the car is moving. You have to have 3 people in the car to get the free toll, but no one can set up the app if the car is moving! What horrible programming. They very intentionally made it difficult to use in order to get the free toll, hoping people will forget to set it up and have to pay the toll.
