This is not linked up to my original Rigid account that has all of my tools listed. some of which have even had recalls on them.This shows I don't have any tools. Not worth the download

Can't connect my 9Ah battery R8400809 with Bluetooth that connected to the old app. Nice upgrade??? Following in Sonos footsteps I see. No forethought.

Seems like this app is used to spy on us. Why else would it require location information even when the app is not in use? - Thanks to Rigid's response, I have changed from 1 to 5 stars. No chance I will miss place a $2,000 and my most beloved tool. I've done 256 crimps in my first job, and not a single leak. Unbelievable!

Dear Steve, thank you for your review. The reason for using the location in the background is to track your nearby tools and provide information on where the tools were last seen. You can disable this permission at any time from the Settings screen of the app using the gear icon in the top right corner. Best regards, RIDGID Software Solutions Team.
