RigCast turns the forecast into the one answer a driver actually needs: should you keep driving, slow down, reroute, or shut down?

Most weather apps just show you numbers. RigCast scores the road the way a trucker thinks about it, factoring in your trailer and load, because a 40 mph crosswind means something very different to an empty dry van than to a loaded tanker.

HOW IT WORKS
Enter your route and your truck, and RigCast checks live conditions mile by mile, then gives you one clear verdict:
- GO: conditions are clear
- CAUTION: manageable hazards ahead, stay sharp
- WAIT: a severe band is coming but clears soon, and we tell you when
- SHUT DOWN: it is not worth the risk right now

- Crosswinds scored against your actual heading, trailer type, and load
- Winter and ice, including inferred black-ice risk
- Low visibility and fog
- Flooding
- Storm windows: when conditions get bad, when they clear, and the last safe truck stop before the hazard

What’s new

New: enter where you're leaving from and where you're headed, and RigCast shows the main roads a trucker would actually take, ranked by the weather. Each road is named by a town it passes through and gets its own Go / Caution / Wait / Shut Down call. Pick your road and RigCast scores that exact route and follows it live, and the map shows your alternates too. Also includes chain law alerts, driving mode, live tracking, and sharper address search since your last build.
