The Ricicli app was designed by RIPET to allow a user to actively contribute to the issues of recycling PET material with their own green sensitivity.
The operation is very simple: the user downloads the app from the store (Google Play for Android and App Store for Apple), registers, identifies a smart basket to give their bottles, accumulates points. The smart bins are equipped with a Bluetooth Low Energy with which the app interacts to allow the start of the delivery operation. The smart bin is optionally also equipped with a QRCODE with which the same “pairing” operation can be performed alternatively between the app and the smart bin.
