About this game

You are not the driver — you are the terrain. Flood Steps hands you a critter that flees a roaring flood all on its own, hopping forward on a steady beat. Your job is to tap the open water and drop the stepping stones it lands on, one prediction shot at a time.

Every tap is a small lead: a stone takes a moment to splash down solid, so you aim ahead of where the critter will be. Nail the timing and it lands the instant the stone sets for a PERFECT hop and a rising streak; string perfects together to grow your multiplier. Bend the path sideways to snag off-line coins, aim upstream of drifting currents, and route around whirlpools that dissolve any stone caught inside — or dare a sacrificial stone through one for bonus points.

Miss a beat and the critter stumbles, the flood lunges and speeds up forever. It only ever catches you as the sum of your missed placements — so find the rhythm and keep laying the road.
