About this app

RippleVMS is the volunteer management system for community response organizations. It brings shift scheduling, training records, incident reporting, and responder dispatch together in one place—so coordinators can run operations and volunteers can show up ready.

RippleVMS is used by members of organizations that run it. You'll need an invitation or your organization's sign-up link to create an account.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

For volunteers and responders:
• See your next shift, upcoming assignments, and open shifts you're qualified for at a glance
• RSVP to shifts, track your confirmations, and check in
• Keep your training records and qualifications in one place
• Get push notifications for shifts, trainings, and—where your organization enables it—incident and dispatch alerts
• Respond to dispatches in the field: accept or decline, mark en route and on-site, and clear with an outcome
• Follow a live incident activity thread, add notes, and attach photos
• Open an incident's location straight into your maps app for turn-by-turn directions

For coordinators and administrators:
• Manage your volunteer roster and see who's qualified and available
• Triage incidents, assign responders, and track response status on a shared timeline
• Organize volunteers by zones and qualifications

• Works across your organization if you belong to more than one—switch context without signing out
• Optional biometric app lock (fingerprint or face unlock) to keep your data private on shared or lost devices

PRIVACY & SECURITY
• Traffic is protected with HTTPS/TLS; sensitive personal information is additionally encrypted at rest with AES-256
• Multi-factor authentication (TOTP) is available
• Location is only read when you tap "Use Current Location" while reporting an incident—the app never tracks you in the background
• Biometric verification happens entirely on your device; we never receive your biometric data
