Every day there is one corner, the same one for everybody, and you get one run at it.
The whole game is the line. Turn in early and you scrub the exit. Come in wide and you gave up the entry for nothing. Get it right and the road lets you go.
The fastest line of the day is drawn ahead of you. Yours is drawn behind you as you drive it. At the finish you see both, and where you lost it is obvious.
One finger steers. The throttle looks after itself.
The corner changes at midnight — a long sweeper one day, a hairpin the next, and sometimes rain or cold tyres make yesterday's line the wrong one.
Come back tomorrow and there will be more people watching.
No grinding, no unlocks, no four-hour timers. One corner, one run, the same road for everybody.
