The app does as it says and the UI is pretty good, although sometimes confusing. Main reason for 3 stars is that zooming has turned out to be extremely frustrating. I'm not sure why but pinching with one hand to zoom in and out it will simply not work, and even if I use both hands, it's hit and miss. I don't have these issues with the core Pixel Cam app. I purchased this trying to get a better option; in some ways it is, but the frustration I feel every time I use it isn't worth the price

Hello, thank you for your feedback! To make zoom operation easier, ProShot lets you zoom with just one finger :) Please give it a shot, and if you're still having trouble, send me and email and I'd be glad to help: support@riseupgames.com

I bought this thinking it would be an upgrade from the Pixel Pro's default Camera App. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. The zoom feature doesn't switch cameras properly, leading to grainy and low-quality images. I had expected it to at least match the native app's quality. The lack of a proper demo trial should have been a red flag.

Hello, in the latest version of ProShot, you can now customize the lens behavior. This option allows you to disable automatic lens switching, so only the desired lens remains active :) We do offer a full demo as well, which is available here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riseupgames.proshotevaluator

I think this is an excellent app with great potential! With my limited time of use so far, on Pixel 7 pro, I noticed that the image was not saved correctly. It seems like the saved image is in preview quality, but the file size is large (normal). When you zoom in, no details. There must be something wrong with saving. Updates: the issue mentioned earlier I believe was due to the app used the ultra wide camera for other focal lengths by using digital zoom (without actually switching the camera)

Hello, For RAW photos, ProShot only displays them in the camera roll as low res thumbnails because decoding RAW files takes a lot of time. If you are having issues with image capture however, please send me an email, I'd be glad to take a look! support@riseupgames.com

What's new

Thank you all for the well wishes! Eddie is almost fully recovered, and has resumed work on 9.0. Here's what's new:

• Camera optimizations to further improve application and startup speed
• Fixes for Slomo, Timelapse and Light Painting
• Manual white balance now works on Google and Sony devices (finally!)
• Flash now works with long exposures
• Fixed a photo permission error
• Many device-specific issues fixed. Thank you for the bug reports!
