Ferry Wait is a simple offline ferry queue card for drivers and walk-on passengers who stick to one landing. Open the app and you land on a fullscreen active card: a large next-departure clock, the landing name, vessel label, cars-ahead count, and a clear capacity hint—so you know where you stand without digging through menus. Built for the dock, not the highway. There are no maps, no GPS tracks, and no multi-route transit boards. You type the landings, sail times, and queue counts yourself. Everything stays on device, so the card still works when signal drops at the water. Core tools on the card: • Oversized next-departure time as the cold-start focus • Cars-ahead stepper with large +/− controls, or type an exact count for your single queue lane • Vessel capacity field for a plain load hint (cars ahead vs max cars) • One-tap missed-sailing stamp with a short reason note that rolls the card to the following departure • Boarded confirmation to archive the wait cycle and clear the queue for your next trip Stay organized offline: • Typed day schedule editor—ordered departures for the active landing, with add, reorder, and strike-through for boats that already sailed • Landing switcher strip—keep several named landings stored locally, but lock exactly one active queue card at a time • Wait history log—past cycles with landing, planned time, cars-ahead snapshot, boarded or missed, and a free-text note First launch includes seed sample landings and weekend schedules so you see a real ferry card before any setup. Preferences cover 12/24h clock, default capacity, and whether the card auto-advances after a miss. One ferry queue on one card—next boat, cars ahead, and honest missed-sailing notes at a glance, fully offline.
