BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS APP. It does create backups, but it is unreliable. My backups vary randomly from 300MB to 500MB even though I don't delete messages. The 300MB backups have random messages missing. Also, it doesn't seem to honor its own local storage limit option (I set 3GB hoping it stores a few local copies, but it doesn't.) An app like this should be "set and forget", but you'll get a nasty surprise when you go to restore a partial backup. Silent backup failures are infuriating.

Had to juggle three phones when my original phone started boot looping. Used this app to transfer the messages I got while using my backup phone to my new phone, to bridge the gap between my last Google backup on my original phone. Worked great, no duplicate messages or anything! *maybe* the one thing I'd improve is the UI, it's not super pretty or modern, not quite in line with Google's or Android's latest visual style, but by no means does it look bad or clunky.

What I have experienced using this app is rather archaic when it comes to software. It doesn't return resources. It also crashes. It continues to increase in size to the point where it is the largest entity on my device. Currently, with data it stands at 65.8 GB, far larger than the total incremental backups stored in my cloud. I find it far too excessive, and appears to be because it does not return storage used after completion. It can't possibly be considered efficient with such a footprint.

Please email us with the error logs (Menu >Help and feedback >Send app logs to developer) so we can investigate why it's taking up that storage as it's not meant to keep those backups.
