Perfect, works without any drama, simple options to store backups in Drive, Dropbox, etc, or store in phone and transfer directly via wifi from one phone to another. Transferred 4000 messages from old phone to new phone in a couple of minutes. Option to not transfer calls if you've already done that. Tried three other backup apps none of which worked, for different reasons. Great to find something that just works!

The app is easy to use and works well. Hw, I would hv liked to convert and view the file as a PDF rather than hv to restore the file to do so. Perhaps such a feature could be part of a new update or included in a paid version. Great app, though. Exactly what I was looking for, save for not being able to convert files to different/multiple formats. Will be looking to purchase the paid/pro version to remove ads, even though I did not find them over intrusive.

Hi Gary, the app has built in viewer (Menu - View Backups) and can be used to print to PDF. Also there is an online viewer at https://SyncTech.com.au/view-or-edit-sms-call-log-files-on-computer to do the same from a computer.

It works perfectly. The problem with the XML backup format is that it is not searchable within your chosen backup option. For instance if I wanted to search my old SMS messages to find all messages containing the word "party" I would have to search each XML files seperatly. If each SMS message was converted into seperate files within a folder created for each backup, I could then search. Add it stands, it is really only a backup and restore app, not a way of filing your old messages.

Hi Joe, The app has search functionality albeit it only works with local backups. If you have backups stored locally on the phone then you can search from Menu - View Backups - Local tab - Search button on top right.
Thanks.
