The Welcome Screen features an animated Maya totem, offering quick access to start the game or learn the rules. The Settings Screen allows toggling background music and sound effects independently and supports multiple languages for a global audience. The Rules Screen provides a clear guide: lead the spirit from the altar to the portal, prepare during a ten-second countdown, manage three lives, and understand launch mechanics.
Gameplay takes place on a five-by-five grid filled with rotatable path tiles. Each tile shows green jungle paths with four-direction connections. Tap a tile to rotate it ninety degrees and strategically align paths. Stone tiles act as immovable obstacles, requiring careful planning to navigate around them. A display shows remaining lives as hearts, a ten-second countdown timer, a starting tiki mask on the left, and the destination portal at the bottom-right. Press Start, and the spirit will follow the connected path. Successfully reaching the portal advances the level, while blocked paths cost a life.
Ritual Way combines classic puzzle mechanics with unique challenges. Create unbroken paths using straight paths, corners, T-junctions, and cross intersections. Players must plan ahead and think strategically under a time limit. Winning a level triggers a celebratory screen with confetti effects, while losing all lives presents a clear Lose Screen.
