Writing is recognized as a craft, and the teacher, as the more experienced craftsperson, has the role of introducing students to practices of the craft. As such, every discipline has a procedure for a student to follow, but the writing field did not seem to offer a route for students to follow. In the Malaysian context, undergraduates in local universities still seem to have difficulties in expressing themselves well in writing in the target language. This is because these students do not have the strong foundation in the rudiments of basic usage of English and therefore are unable to pen down their ideas or points effectively in a written form.

In most situations, lack of grammatical competence, broad vocabularies and written practices have caused many students to be anxious, self-conscious and uncomfortable, and hence, automatically making writing a most dreaded task by many.

This main objective of this application is to provide students with a practicing tool in formulating correct keywords for their research objectives in their research paper.
