About this app

"Driver Mode" is a simple assistant for planning a truck driver's work schedule.
Drivers simply mark the start and end of their shift. The app will calculate and display key milestones:
• Maximum allowable end time for the current shift;
• Earliest next start time;
• Full daily rest time of 11 hours;
• Remaining reduced daily rest periods of 9/15 hours;
• Remaining driving time extensions of up to 10 hours;
• Next weekly rest deadline.
Key data is constantly displayed in a notification on the lock screen. No constantly changing countdowns—only short, clear times that drivers really need.
The app includes:
• Shift and rest history;
• Recording calendar;
• Manual record editing;
• Scheduling a specific date and time for the next start;
• Marking a split daily rest period of 3 + 9 hours;
• Tracking regular and reduced weekly rest periods;
• Calculation of compensation for a shortened week's rest;
• Notification restoration after phone restart;
• Light and dark themes;
• Local data backup and restore.
The app runs locally and does not require registration or a constant internet connection.
