The Jamaica Gleaner Mobile application allows you to enjoy news and information from The Gleaner wherever you are. The application downloads and syncs the latest news directly to your device for offline reading. In addition to sync options, you can choose to show or hide thumbnails and images, adjust font size and share articles with a friend.

n.b. Old users of the app will have to delete the old one and install the new one in order to get push notifications.

The new app has many glitches. I don't get the latest news sometimes and I had to uninstall 3 times because the daily news wasn't changing from the previous days. Please sort out these glitches so I can enjoy what was once an easy app. Update 2025... still having many glitches. Unable to have news updates for days. Not a happy camper at all

Frequently crashes. Sometimes all sections don't load, impossible for me to see the business section on the weekend for some reason, it starts at entertainment. When I click on notifications, the app crashes and it only loads the current day's news. Terrible news app. Don't deserve a full star

This was once my favorite app to use, so i can stay up to date.. however, i made the mistake of updating the app. Since then the only thing that shows on the app is the exchange rate. I am no longer able to read any news article, i am not even seeing any article as a matter of fact. I am extremely disappointed. Until, the matter is adjusted i cannot recommend this app to anyone. Save yourself the trouble
