The Make-A-Wish Wishgranter Chat is an exclusive App for Wishgranters to message Wish Families in a secure and GDPR compliant environment. Wishgranters are volunteers who work on behalf of Make A Wish to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical or terminal illness. Wish Families are the names given to the parents or guardians of the children.

The App is designed to enable them to chat with customers & families via the WhatsApp API in order to help fulfil children’s wishes more quickly and more conveniently than traditional contact methods such as phone or email. All messages are integrated into Make A Wish’s Salesforce CRM. The App is not available to the general public. The App is for internal use by Wishgranters only (Wish Families use their own WhatsApp). Each user has a unique login and password to access the App. Access to the App (for example due to an employee leaving the business), can be disabled at any time.
