About this app

RO1000 Driver is the official app for participants in the RO1000 Challenge, the endurance event for electric vehicles. You install it, log in with your account and you have everything you need to follow your journey from start to finish.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Live GPS tracking – your position and speed are recorded continuously, even with the screen off or the app in the background.
• Speed ​​alerts – you receive a notification when you approach the zone limit, to avoid penalties.
• Trip log – consumption, charges, breaks and penalties, all organized as a clear timeline, from Start to Finish.
• Stage recording – your consumption is asked exactly when you reach each checkpoint, without extra steps.
• Dashboard – your progress on the route, your position, remaining kilometers, average speed and countdown to the start.
• Live leaderboard – see where you stand compared to other participants.
• Route map – follow the route and checkpoints on the map.
• Works offline – data entered without a signal is saved locally and automatically synchronized when the connection returns.

PREPARATION BEFORE START

The application guides you through a short checklist: location permissions, internet connection, phone connected to the charger and fixed in the holder. This way you start the road with everything set up.

PRIVACY AND LOCATION IN THE BACKGROUND

RO1000 Driver collects location data to track your position on the route and speed even when the application is closed or not in use. Without this, your live position and the calculation of penalties would not be correct. The location is used exclusively during your trip and only for the purpose of the event.
