About this app

Roar is a career coaching app for women working in tech, teaching members interpersonal skills.

With Roar, you:

* Learn and practice interpersonal skills and handling difficult conversations like "How do I ask for a promotion?", "How do I deal with a difficult colleague?", etc.

* Listen to Senior Directors and VPs in Tech - women who have overcome many of these issues to succeed in their careers

* Practice what you learn with our tools

Our ambition is to get more women to aim for and reach the executive ranks... from Day 1 of their careers.

Studies show that women lose out more in that first opportunity to lead a team. This is where Roar comes in. We teach you interpersonal skills so you can ask for challenging opportunities, handle conflict easily, influence difficult people, and get ahead in your career.

What are Interpersonal Skills?

"People Skills" or "Interpersonal Skills" (or even "Executive Presence") encompasses how you communicate with others and work effectively in a team, while also showcasing your leadership abilities. This includes communication, conflict management, emotional intelligence or EQ, listening, empathy, and more. While technical skills are important in the first year or two of your career, interpersonal skills are more important for your growth as a manager and a leader.

Roar is open to all gender identities, so even if you don't identify as a woman and you want to learn interpersonal skills, try Roar today.
