About this app

RoboGuru is block-based programming for robots. Snap colourful blocks together with your finger, connect the hub over Bluetooth and watch your model come to life. Made for teachers, robotics clubs, parents and anyone who builds models with learners.

HARDWARE
• Made for the RoboGuru robotics kit: hub, motor, motion sensor and tilt sensor (sold separately).

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Build programs by dragging blocks — no typing, no syntax errors.
• Control the motor: direction, power, run for a set time, stop.
• Change the colour of the hub's light.
• React to the motion and tilt sensors: wait for a hand to come close or for the model to tilt.
• Use your device's microphone as a sound-level sensor.
• Play sounds, show numbers, text and background pictures on screen, and do maths right on the display.
• Start a program with the start button, a key press or a message from another program; repeat actions in loops.
• Follow the run: the block that is working lights up, and the motor and sensor readings show in the corner.
• Stop the program and the motors at once with the Stop button.

PROJECTS
• Projects are saved on the device automatically.
• Send a project as a file from the Share menu and open one with Import.
• Switch between projects without reconnecting the hub.

NOTHING EXTRA
• No sign-up, no ads, no in-app purchases.
• Works offline.
• Bluetooth is used only to talk to the hub; the app never asks for your location. The microphone is used only by blocks that react to sound: nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
• If something goes wrong, the hub panel has a "Report a problem" button. The report (your description, an optional contact, photos or videos, plus the hub connection log, the device model and the current program) is sent to the developers only when you tap Send.
• English and Russian interface.

WHAT YOU NEED
• An Android 12 or later phone or tablet with Bluetooth LE.
• The RoboGuru kit: hub, motor and sensors (sold separately). Sound and display blocks work without a hub.
