HELAS is a smartphone matching app provided by Shinano Mainichi Shimbun that is specialized for use in Nagano Prefecture and connects lost food items listed by stores (sellers) with consumers (buyers).
Sellers (exhibitors) can use their smartphones to register products that are likely to be left over that day, items that are out of stock, and items that are out of shape.
Buyers (app users) receive product listing information from the smartphone app in real time, pay for the desired product, and purchase it. You will receive the product at the store within the time specified by the seller. (Delivery available at Online Marche)
At HELAS, you can list, purchase, and pay for loss-related foods all on your smartphone.
By using HELAS, both sellers and buyers can enjoy benefits in a way that is visible to them while reducing food waste.
