"Game Master" is a free app for managing the venue on the day of a robot competition. It handles match progress, presentation, and match information all in one app.
This Android version acts as a "screen terminal," functioning as the venue's screen and the judges' tablets. The servers holding the competition data (window server and field server) run on Windows PCs at the venue using the same app (Microsoft Store version). Android devices (smartphones and tablets) launch this app, automatically find servers on the same network, select one from the list, and connect to display the appropriate screen. It works even in venues without internet access. Even without connecting to a server, you can check each screen using sample data by clicking "View Sample" on the initial screen.
■ Screen
- Match Progress: The organizers start the match and finalize the record.
- Presentation: The flow of the match for each sport is displayed on a large screen for the audience.
- Remaining Time Display: The remaining time is displayed prominently for players and referees.
- Referee Tablet: The head referee starts the match and stage, enters the record, and finalizes the result.
- Video Review: The head referee reviews the recording and displays the scene being reviewed in the presentation.
- Match Registration: Players from the next team are registered one by one using a QR card or name.
- Match Information: The match list, preliminary round standings, and final tournament bracket are displayed.
■ Features
- The field server can continue matches on that field until completion even if other servers are down.
- Match results are stored even when not connected to the main server and automatically sent when connected.
- Tournament definitions (teams and matches) are read from a CSV file.
