Distance By Sound is a minimalist audio-spatial challenge that tests your ability to perceive distance through volume. Using the physics of sound, this game challenges you to bridge the gap between what you hear and how far away it is.
How to Play:
Calibrate: Listen to the reference sound at a known distance of 1 meter and 10 meters.
Listen: Hear a target sound played at a random volume within that range.
Guess: Use the precision slider to estimate the distance.
Win: The closer your guess is to the actual distance, the higher your score!
Game Modes:
Solo Mode: Practice your skills and try to achieve a perfect 0.0m error margin.
1v1 Mode (Local Multiplayer): Challenge a friend on the same device. Take turns listening and guessing to see who has the superior spatial hearing.
