About this app

RoDepth turns your phone or tablet into a display for your wireless sonar. Connect to the sonar's Wi-Fi and see the water under your boat in real time.

FEATURES

- Live sonar view: a scrolling picture of the bottom and everything in the water below you
- Depth reading: clear, large depth display, updated continuously
- 3D relief: build a 3D map of the bottom from your depth readings
- Water temperature: shown on screen when your sonar reports it
- Easy Wi-Fi connection: RoDepth finds your sonar automatically, no IP addresses or technical setup needed
- Two frequencies: switch between 125 kHz and 330 kHz, or leave it on Auto
- Noise filter and sensitivity: adjust the sonar to the water conditions
- Display modes: choose Sand or DepthTerrain colors
- Zoom: zoom in on the part of the water column you care about
- Portrait and landscape: use the phone upright or sideways

HOW TO USE

1. Turn on your sonar and put it in the water.
2. Connect your phone to the sonar's Wi-Fi network.
3. Open RoDepth and tap "Search for Sonar".
4. The depth and sonar picture appear as soon as the sonar is found.

REQUIREMENTS

RoDepth needs a compatible wireless (Wi-Fi) sonar device. The app does not work without one.

PRIVACY

RoDepth does not collect, store or share any personal data. It only talks to your sonar over your local Wi-Fi connection.
