PadDroid turns an Android tablet or phone into a drawing and handwriting surface for Mac or Windows. See the computer screen on your Android device and send touch or stylus input back to the desktop app.

DRAW AND CREATE
• Draw in desktop creative apps with a compatible Android stylus
• Pass through pressure, tilt and eraser input when supported by your device and desktop app
• Choose a full display, one app or one window
• Keep common shortcuts, modifiers and the keyboard close at hand
• Pinch to zoom the local view and use touch gestures to navigate

HANDWRITE FOR CLASS AND WORK
Use handwriting in the desktop apps you already use. Write notes, work through equations, mark up slides or explain ideas without buying a separate pen tablet. Students and teachers can keep the computer workflow on the large screen while writing naturally from a tablet.

ANNOTATE AND SIGN WITHOUT MOVING FILES
Open a PDF or document on your Mac or PC, then use PadDroid as the input surface. Add a quick annotation or signature from an Android phone with finger-drawing mode—useful when the job is small and transferring the document to another device would take longer.

DIRECT, LOCAL CONNECTION
PadDroid connects directly to its companion app on your local network and does not upload your work to a PadDroid cloud service.

WHAT YOU NEED
• An Android device running Android 9 or later
• A Mac or Windows computer
• The free PadMac or PadWin companion from codonic.dev/apps/pad
• Both devices on the same local network

Stylus features vary by Android hardware. Pressure, tilt and eraser behavior also depend on support in the desktop app. A tablet and active stylus are best for longer creative sessions; a phone and finger are ideal for quick marks and signatures.
