Welcome to NatWest Rooster Money–a pocket money manager, piggy bank, reward chart, savings tracker & chores app–made to help families teach kids about money & savings goals. We also have a prepaid Visa debit card for kids that lets parents raise their youngsters to be money-wise.

With our allowance & kids money saving app, parents help children on their first steps towards understanding the value of money with a piggy bank–saving money–through to their first real-world purchases. Start with our reward chart, move them onto managing their own cash, earning with our chores & savings app, before trying a Rooster Card–a prepaid debit card for kids.

Ratings and reviews

So far, so good. Using the paid version and have it set up for 4 kids. The "regulars" are good for my 16 y.o., who has phone, car insurance, etc. For the younger ones, it's just good motivation and a teaching tool. I contacted the developer with a question and suggestion, and got a response right away. *Update* My younger kids are learning so much about finances with this app. We homeschool, and I can't imagine anything better to teach the kids about earning, saving, and spending.

This has been really helpful for us. When our kids were younger, we tried always giving them allowances in cash and having them spend using cash so they could understand it was actual money they were parting with instead of just some magical numbers. It was way too hard. We never had exact change on hand (especially when we moved to the three-jar give/save/spend method) and we didn't take their money with us every time we went to the store, so it wasn't available if they wanted to buy something. This is SO MUCH EASIER. We never have to try to remember how much each kid has if we're out and they see something they want to buy. It even allows you to label each purchase so they can see a history of all their spending. We love it and wish we had known about it sooner. It's also really easy to learn how to use.

Loving app to track stars or $ for good behavior or allowance. Super easy. I was able to set up my 2 older kids to have separate login details to see their "savings pot" on their devices. I also sent my husband an invite from the app so that he can award them as well through his phone. I like also that the app will automatically "pay" the child on the date and the amount of your choosing, because I have 5 kids, I tend to forget each week!
