Security SPY — Secure Your Phone Yourself.

A privacy guard for your phone. It protects the apps and screens that matter most — your messages, photos, banking, settings — by photographing anyone who opens them without your permission. If someone picks up your phone, opens an app you've marked sensitive, and isn't you, the front camera captures their face. The photo is stored in a vault on your device that only you can open with your fingerprint or face. Everything happens on your device. Nothing is uploaded. No account required.

HOW IT WORKS

Register your face as the owner. Tag the apps and system screens you consider sensitive — messaging, photos, banking, Settings, or any app you choose. When a tagged item is opened, the front camera takes ONE photograph. Android shows a green camera indicator at the top of the screen — a system feature we do not hide. On most devices the camera shutter sound also plays, enforced by Android (and required by law in some regions like Korea and Japan). We do not, and cannot, suppress the shutter or the indicator. The photograph is checked against your registered face on the device. If it's you, it's discarded immediately (owner recognition). If it's someone else, it's saved to your vault with a timestamp. To view the vault, you unlock with your fingerprint or face.

WHAT THIS APP IS — AND IS NOT

This app is for protecting YOUR OWN device. It is NOT for monitoring another person's phone. Do not install it on a device you do not own — doing so may violate stalking, biometric privacy, or wiretap laws in your jurisdiction.

This app does NOT read what you do inside any app, record video, audio, screen content, keystrokes, or text, share or upload anything off your device, require an account, show ads, or track location. Every capture is visible — Android's camera indicator and shutter sound make it impossible to operate without your knowledge.

This app DOES use Android's Accessibility Service, but only to detect which app or system screen is currently in the foreground. We explain this in the app on first launch, and you must affirmatively consent before any monitoring is enabled. Camera capture requires a separate consent.

PRIVACY

100% on-device. No accounts, no email, no login. No ads. No trackers. Your face is processed locally using Google ML Kit — we store only numerical geometry ratios, never a photograph. A NOTE ON ANTI-THEFT

Security SPY may help deter casual snooping, but it is not a full anti-theft solution today. Because everything is stored on the device, a thief who factory-resets your phone will erase all captured evidence. Cloud-backed evidence and remote alerts are planned for a future Pro Ultra tier.

PERMISSIONS

Camera — to photograph when a tagged item is opened. Used only at the moment of capture.
Accessibility Service — to detect when a tagged app is opened. Does NOT read screen content.
Display over other apps — required for capture without a preview window. Camera indicator still shown by the system.
Foreground service — to complete the capture reliably on battery-optimized devices.
Wake lock + battery optimization exemption — to survive aggressive battery management.
Billing — to handle Pro subscription purchases.
