About this app

RotaFair helps hospital teams organise duty schedules fairly and keep everyone informed.

For doctors:
• See who is on duty today and what is coming next
• View your published rota and personal fairness summary
• Submit availability for the next schedule
• Request and respond to swaps, covers and open cover requests
• Contact authorised colleagues by phone or supported messaging apps
• Coordinate privately through staff chat, with blocking and reporting tools
• Add duties to your calendar and receive service notifications

For managers:
• Follow monthly preparation and submission progress
• Review department rotas, staffing, rules and fairness statistics
• Generate, publish and unpublish schedules
• Follow up with team members who have not submitted availability
• Manage departments from the mobile app, with advanced controls available on the web

RotaFair is available only to authorised staff of participating departments. Department access is provided by an administrator. The mobile app is a workforce scheduling and coordination tool. It does not contain patient records, clinical decision support or clinical handoff content.
