About this app

Record your rides with maps and photos. RouteShare is a route creation, recording, and sharing app for cycling and bike touring.

The app automatically records your route using GPS tracking. Once you're finished, you can post it directly with a map. All basic functions are free.

■ Ride Records (app version)

Since GPS is recorded in the background, you don't need to touch your smartphone while riding. Recording continues even when you're out of range, and uploads when you regain signal. Recorded ride logs can be directly incorporated into your posted maps, making "ride → record → post" a seamless process. GPX/KML file import is also supported.


■ Route and Map Creation

Automatically search for spots, lines, and routes, and place objects such as circles, squares, and polygons on the map. Each spot can have a name, description, and up to 10 photos added. The app can even automatically place pins at shooting locations based on photo Exif information. You can create maps that convey not just a simple ride log, but also "what's great about this course." You can also automatically generate images for social media by combining the created map and photos.

You can also copy other users' maps and use them as a base for creating your own routes.

You can plan your destination on a map, add notes, and share it with friends via URL. Plans are private, so only close friends can use them. After your ride, you can reuse the plan as a post.
