RSSR Campus Connect is a communication app for university staff and students. Its core functionality is voice and video calling between members of the institution, together with instant messaging.

VOICE AND VIDEO CALLING
- Place and receive one-to-one voice and video calls with staff and students
- Incoming calls ring with a full-screen incoming-call screen, including when the device is locked or the screen is off, so urgent calls are never missed
- Answer or decline directly from the call screen
- Calls integrate with the Android telecom system for correct audio routing, Bluetooth and headset support

MESSAGING
- One-to-one and group chat
- Media, document and voice-note sharing
- Delivery and read status

CAMPUS SERVICES
Alongside calling and chat, signed-in users can access their institutional records: admit cards, examination results, examination and revaluation forms, fee payment and receipts, attendance, and profile and document management.

WHY FULL-SCREEN NOTIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED
Because the app receives voice and video calls, it uses a full-screen incoming-call notification. This is what allows an incoming call to wake the screen and show the answer/decline screen while the phone is locked, exactly as a phone dialler does. Without it an incoming call would appear only as a small banner and would be missed.

ACCESS
Sign-in with institutional credentials issued by the university is required.
