Whether you're simply curious, an informed enthusiast, or an energy professional, éCO₂mix allows you to track, visualize, and understand data about the French electricity system, with one clear objective: to make it more accessible. A better understanding of electricity also means using it more efficiently.

A dynamic electricity system

Thanks to éCO₂mix, the free mobile application developed by RTE, discover the data of an electricity system in constant flux: it follows the rhythm of economic activity and daily life, and reflects the pulse of activity in France. Observe the variations in electricity consumption, higher during the day than at night, greater on weekdays than on weekends, and higher in winter than in summer.

With éCO₂mix:

- Observe the operation of the French electricity system as a whole (consumption trends, the different production sectors and their share of the electricity mix, greenhouse gas emissions);

- Visualize cross-border trade with neighboring countries and view spot prices on European markets;

- View regional consumption and production data by sector;

- Access key figures to put the current state of the electricity system into perspective with historical data.

Powered by millions of data points compiled by RTE, the éCO₂mix application is a tool for transparency and education, designed to help understand and bring to life the figures, information, and developments of the electricity system in France.

Ratings and reviews

Good app but some UI improvements needed.. - I almost missed the Expert mode.. it is not very visible and the app is worthless in normal mode - % values are missing: load factor, ratio consumed vs produced vs installed, export ratio, CO2 emissions ratios by energy,... - some historical views (prod/consumed vs time) are missing with energy kWh values and not only power values, - there are values for wind/solar/hydro.. but where are the other energies. ? Coal, gas, nuclear..).. But overall good !
