Twist the layers. Follow the arrows. Clear the cube.
Twist away is a 3D cube puzzle about taking a twisty cube apart, one block at a time. Every block carries an arrow and flies out with a tap only when the path to the edge is clear. Turn the layers to re-aim the arrows, open the way and empty the whole shape.
How it works
Drag across the cube to turn a layer, drag the background to spin the cube, double-tap to return to the starting view. Tap a block: if nothing stands in its way, it flies out; if something does, it bumps and the blocker flashes red. Outer blocks leave first, then the inner ones open up.
Puzzle mechanics
• Arrow blocks — the arrow sits inside the block and turns with it, so every twist re-aims the board
• Three arrow signs — along the face, outward (⊙) or inward (⊗)
• Lock and Key — a lock stays put while its key of the same color is on the cube; tap the lock to trace a dotted line to the key
• Barrier — the three layers it sits in stay frozen until it flies out
• Shapes — cubes of different sizes, a cross, a hollow cube, stairs, a 3×3×4 tower and a 4×4×2 slab; layers with a non-square cut turn only 180°
Made for calm thinking
Any layer turns at any time and every twist can be reversed, so there are no dead ends. Undo as much as you like, ask for a hint when stuck or switch on a turn limit set two moves above par. Highlights show which blocks are ready to go, and you can turn them off for a purer challenge.
Twelve handcrafted levels lead into procedural ones where locks and barriers keep growing.
