App Description
Quarter Monkey is a competitive Arabic word game you can play with your friends online or on the same device. Each player adds one letter to a shared word, and the goal is to avoid completing the word. The loser collects "Quarters Monkey," and the first player to complete four is eliminated!
Quarter Monkey Key Features
How to Play
Each player adds one letter per turn to build a shared word.
The word must be in the dictionary and belong to the chosen category.
Any player can challenge the previous player — the loser takes a quarter monkey.
The player who completes four quarters becomes a full monkey and is eliminated from the round.
The last player (or players) standing wins.
Online
Create a room and share a short code with your friends.
Join any room with the code from anywhere.
Up to 6 players in the same room.
Readiness System — the host starts after everyone is ready.
The host arranges the players in order or shuffles them randomly.
Offline (One Device)
Play with the players on the same device.
Add player names, arrange them in order, or shuffle them randomly.
Pass the device between players in each turn.
No internet required.
Round Settings

Arabic Word Processing
The game handles Arabic writing intelligently:
Processed State
The forms of the letter Alif (ا) are all treated as a single word.
The letter Ta' Marbuta (ة) is treated as the letter Ha' (ه).
The letters Alif Maqsura (ى) and Ya' Mutaharika (ئ) are treated as the letter Ya' (ي).
The letter Waw Mutaharika (ؤ) is treated as the letter Waw (و).
Vowels and diacritics are completely ignored (Fatha, Damma, Kasra, etc.).
Elongation and spaces are removed.
Example: Iskandariya and Iskandariya are treated as a single word.
Challenge Rules (Doubt)
Player adds a letter

├─► Correct word ─► Doubter takes a quarter monkey
├─► Incorrect word ─► Doubtful player takes a quarter monkey
└─► Duplicate word (used in the same round) ─► Completer takes a quarter monkey
