What is a QR Code?
 
 QR Code is a two-dimensional barcode image that can store various formats of data
including Text, Numerical, alpha-numerical, image, and pdf.
 The QR Code is a trademark of Japanese company Denso Wave where Masahiro Hara came
up with the QR code in 1994, inspired by black and white patterns of the popular board game
“Go”.
 QR Codes can be scanned by smartphone cameras as well but it doesn’t provide various
other features like QR Code scan history, or QR Code/Barcode generation feature, unlike our
RS-lens QR scanner app.
 
 
 How to use the RS-Lens QR Code scanner app?
 
 RS-Lens QR Code scanner application comes with an easy-to-understand, clean user
interface that allows you to generate and scan QR Codes and barcodes pretty quickly.
 To use the RS-Lens QR Code scanner, simply open the app on your smartphone and
 
 
 1. To scan a QR Code or Barcode, bring the smartphone closer to the QR Code/barcode.

 2. To create a QR Code/ barcode, choose the format of the data you want to encode and press
the “create” button.
 For example, if you want to insert a URL in a QR Code, enter the URL in the blank box and
hit “create URL QR”.
 Similarly, you can create a QR code containing SMS and email.
 
 3. You can copy the link or share the generated QR Code over WhatsApp, Twitter, and other
social media platforms directly.
 4. Export the QR Code/Barcode in JPEG image format.
 5. Click on the history button to find the QR Code/barcode scan history.
 6. Continuous scan feature allows seamless scanning.
 
 
 What you can do with QR Codes?
 QR Code has become a go-to option for digital payments and QR-based advertising and

Using the RS-lens, one can easily connect with BLE beacons in proximity and keep records
of BLE scans.
