Poorly designed app. Text over writes check boxes. Says its WiFi. And it is. As long as your near the router. If not? Oh well. Plan on spending way more time trying to configure out this sad software. Never once got it to work remotely. Direct connect was slightly useful, but my purchase was partly based on being able to remotely monitor these units. Nope. If your Ok w that, then this is for you.

Only works on 2.4GHz. Direct connect mode did not work for me. It took me an hour of changing settings on my router and firewall to get this to work. The instructions need to do a better job of explaining the specifics of how your network and firewall need to be configured. And how the app communicates with the dehumidifier. It was a lot of trial and error, but I got it working. Once the app started working it worked great. 3 star rating only because of the setup devilry.

This App is so badly programmed. Wasted hours until I understood that you need to "tick" a box (that is invisible in certain resolutions) "I Have Disconnected or deleted other WiFi>>" That box to tick is invisible and may be overlayed somewhere on the text. After this box was found, it finally bound the unit to the chosen WiFi
