About this app

Commercial driver's license (CDL) is a driver's license required in the United States to operate any type of vehicle weighing more than 10,001 lb (4536 kg) for commercial use, or transports quantities of hazardous materials that require warning placards under Department of Transportation regulations, or that is designed to transport 9 or more passengers (including driver) for compensation, or 16 or more passengers (including the driver), for noncompensation. This includes, but is not limited to, tow trucks, tractor trailers, and buses.

Ratings and reviews

Lots of good questions, but the practice tests don't grade pass/fail properly and favorite questions don't work right. The only time you fail a test is if you don't answer any questions, you can get all the answers wrong and still score a pass. When selecting the heart to mark a favorite question, subsequent questions will be marked as favorites too. There are also questions unrelated to the section you're studying (hasmat in tanker, double/triple in combination).

This App has helped me to memorize and internalize the information for the DMV exams. I do not have my license yet, but I already have Doubles and Triples, Tanker Endorsements. In 2 days I will be going to pass my HAZMAT test with probably a 90 or 100 percent.

One ad before a practice test is okay. Most of the questions are helpful, but some of the "correct" answers do not agree with the PenDOT Commercial Driver's Manual!
